Lars Skinnebach

Lars Skinnebach writes experimentally and radically, with climate, power, and language as central themes. In 2010, he declared that literature that does not address the climate crisis is not worth engaging with - the same year he published Exercises and Ritual Texts, which could only be purchased if the buyer committed to consuming nothing but the most basic food for five days.

Since then, he has published award-winning and critically acclaimed works such as Tomorrow the Systems Return Again, Your Abuser, and Teotwaki, which have left a clear mark on contemporary Danish climate literature and political poetry.

At the festival, he reads from his latest poetry collections, where climate criticism takes shape in both the beautiful and the depressing.
