Perhaps your grandfather was part of the resistance movement, your mother was a radical feminist - or your great-grandparents lived an ordinary life in Albertslund. It's equally interesting.

In this workshop, Johanne Mygind shares her best tools for transforming family history into living literature and navigating what can be painful along the way. You'll work through short writing exercises and concrete examples, with time for discussion and feedback. Johanne Mygind has written the novels "The Years of Love" and "Toxic", both based on her own family's past, and has previously worked as a journalist at Weekendavisen, Information and P1.

The workshop runs for two hours (5:00 PM - 7:00 PM), is aimed at adults and is free - but requires registration via Billetto. It takes place in Salen, 3rd floor at BIBLIOTEKET Rentemestervej (access via main staircase or elevator).

No computers are provided, so bring your own and/or paper and pen. There are generally no desks, so you'll likely have your computer or paper in your lap. Bring your own water and snacks. Questions can be sent to literature coordinator Felix: w48m@kk.dk
