Mosaic Embroidery with Cross Stitch

In this workshop, you use cross stitch as small mosaic pieces in a personal embroidery. Instead of following a finished pattern, you combine your own motifs, patterns, symbols and colours into a new expression - a method that instructor Lena Knudsen calls a form of mosaic, where existing motifs are mixed with your own ideas and designs.

You don't need to be able to draw to participate, but basic knowledge of cross stitch is an advantage.

The workshop takes place on Wednesday, 7 October 2026, 18:30-21:30 at Kulturstationen Vanløse. The price is 240 kr. for members of Flittige Hænder i Vanløse and 300 kr. for non-members. Registration via www.fhiv.dk
