The Open Sewing Workshop welcomes everyone who wants to improve their sewing skills or needs feedback on creative projects - regardless of experience level. The workshop's sewing machines and other equipment are freely available, and there is room for both focused work and idea exchange with other participants.

The workshop is open every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 5-8 PM and is arranged in collaboration with Re:wair. Registration is not required, but places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

About the venue: Kildevæld Kulturcenter

Kildevæld Kulturcenter is a community cultural centre in the Østerbro district of Copenhagen, built as an extension to the listed Kildevældsskolen and set between the school and a neighbouring park. The building holds a library, a theatre and concert hall, creative workshops, a café, and a digital workshop equipped with laser cutters and 3D printers. Its programme targets residents of all ages in the Skt. Kjelds Kvarter neighbourhood, with a focus on the meeting point between urban nature and culture.
