Debut Fest: Rødbuks Adventures

Rødbuks is Kristoffer Skjøder Randers' solo project, where he writes, produces and performs Danish-language hyperpop, indiepop and botanica. The name has roots in childhood - a pair of red trousers became the beginning of an identity that didn't quite fit in, and has since become the focal point of an artistic universe about standing a little apart.

The songs range widely: from what it would be like to live in someone's pocket, to the strangeness of an ex still using your Netflix, to tracks that blend hamsters, cake and capitalism. Personal, silly and honest all at once.

Live, the concert is interactive - Rødbuks plays on a PlayStation controller, among other things, and maybe someone from the audience if you're lucky. Shared decisions and playful elements make it something you're part of. This includes a body-inclusive catwalk where the audience can take space on their own terms.

Practical note: there may be interactive passages, but it's perfectly fine just to watch. The concert contains visuals with lighting that may be disruptive. Follow the artist on Instagram: @rodbuks
