Livslyst Vitalitet og Sex(ologi)
Kildevæld Kulturcenter, Copenhagen · Free
We live with a paradox: TV screens show intimate details and uncensored bodies in dating shows, while natural conversation about sexuality, touch, and the naked body remains taboo.
At this health event, sexologist Christin Walter and biologist and longevity expert Torben Sønnichsen - author of the book and universe "The Healthy Aging" - break that taboo. The two discuss vitality, sexuality, and sex at all ages, exploring how sexuality and the need for closeness follow us throughout life but change expression: from youth's play and pleasure, through the mature years' focus on security and belonging, to old age's love life, where touch and intimacy remain important even as hormonal balance shifts.
A key theme of the evening is closeness as a health factor: physical contact and kindness trigger hormones that set vital processes in motion in the body - processes that matter for healthy aging.
The evening offers space for reflection and practical tools to strengthen intimate health, without taboo.
