You are invited to the Summer Book Festival at Bibliotekshuset on August 15 at 11:00 if you have completed the Libraries' Summer Book Challenge. Bring an adult and join us.

Author and illustrator Jan Kjær - known from the Nomer books - will be visiting, and there will also be refreshments.

This event is reserved for participants in the Libraries' Summer Book Challenge. Supported by the Danish Arts Foundation.

About the venue: Bibliotekshuset

Bibliotekshuset is a local public library on Amager, part of the Copenhagen municipal library network. The ground floor has lending machines, book displays and reading nooks, the basement is set up as a quiet non-fiction zone, and the first floor offers study seats, daily newspapers and computers. A rooftop terrace opens in summer. The library also acts as a neighbourhood hub, hosting reading clubs, a board-game club, a craft club and a Danish conversation group. Outside staffed hours it operates as a self-service library accessible with a health card.
