Hammershøi and Danish Art Around 1900

Ordrupgaard houses one of the world's largest collections of Vilhelm Hammershøi's works, and this exhibition unfolds the artist's distinctive world of motifs in its full breadth.

On the walls you will find paintings of empty rooms, women seen from behind, distinctive landscapes, unusual architectural subjects and portraits - all while light streams in through tall windows and plays with light and shadow.
