About the venue

Ordrupgaard is a state-recognised art museum just north of Copenhagen, housed in a historic villa built in 1918. The collection focuses on French Impressionism alongside Danish art from the 19th and 20th centuries. A striking extension by Zaha Hadid, clad in black lava and glass, was added in 2005, and the adjacent Finn Juhl house forms part of the museum.
