About: Horse Lords

This Baltimore quartet has spent fifteen years forging a sound built on just intonation and interlocking polyrhythms, drawing equally from krautrock, Afrobeat and avant-garde composition. Their 2026 album Demand to Be Taken to Heaven Alive! marks a new chapter, adding voices and brass to the band's signature framework for the first time.
