Birdwatching - With Morten D.D. Hansen

Biologist and nature communicator Morten D.D. Hansen gives a lecture on Danish bird species based on his latest book "Jeg ser på fugle" (I Watch Birds). He explores questions such as: how do you start birdwatching when you live in a big city - and how do you actually recognize a bird by its call?

The lecture moves through a wide range of natural habitats: wetlands, river valleys and pristine forest, but also motorways, parks and the city itself. Birds are found everywhere. The lecture is aimed at both newcomers and experienced birdwatchers.

The event is part of Copenhagen Libraries' festival "Vild med videnskab" (Wild About Science), running in October and November with science communication for adults at all Copenhagen Libraries.
