Writing Workshop: Intuitive Writing — Brønshøj Bibliotek, Copenhagen
Free entry

Short, guided exercises form the framework for this workshop, where participants write brief texts guided by the subconscious. Inspiration is drawn from tarot cards, visual art, and fellow participants' dreams - and the texts can later serve as a starting point for longer works. Everyone is encouraged to read aloud, but it is voluntary.

The workshop is led by Rikke Oberlin Flarup (b. 1981), author, publisher, and owner of the micro-publisher 'Arkiv for Detaljer'. She made her debut in 2011 and has since published, among other works, the dream prose collection 'Der kan ikke være 18 lilla mennesker i en konvolut' (2020), the novel 'Undskyld jeg kommer for sent' (2024), and the essay 'Æter nr. 10 - Drømmenes poetik' (2025). From 2017 to 2020, she led Poesiens Hus in Copenhagen and was co-organizer of the book fair 'Lille Bogdag' for Danish micro-publishers from 2015 to 2024.

This is a standalone two-hour event - not a course series - and is part of Copenhagen's Libraries' monthly writing workshops around the city. It takes place in the event room on the 1st floor, 16:30-18:30, and is aimed at adults. Entry is free but requires registration via Billetto. There are no computers available, so bring your own laptop and/or paper and pen. Questions can be sent to literature coordinator Emma at b67j@kk.dk.
