Living Saturday

Levende Lørdag is a recurring event at Det Grønne Museum where volunteers demonstrate traditional crafts. All activities are free for visitors in addition to regular museum admission.

On the day, you can taste butter and fresh dairy products from the dairy guild, medister sausage, bread and rhubarb from the food and butcher guild. The brewery guild and beekeepers are also present, and there is an opportunity to watch bows being made and try your hand at rope-making. Volunteers keep the smithy and tractor workshop open, the forest guild talks about forest work, and the museum's guides are present in the visitor warehouse.

Museum inspector Anette Møller gives introductions to the exhibition Under the Sun with insights into its themes and stories - at 11:00, 12:30 and 14:00.
