On Sunday, August 30, 2026 at 4:00 PM, harpist Lene S. Mouritzen and soprano Bettina Hellemann Munch perform at Christianskirken. The two musicians have collaborated for several years on a repertoire of music from the Romantic period.

The programme includes Edvard Grieg's Solveig's Song, Giacomo Puccini's O mio babbino caro, and works by Gabriel Fauré, Franz Schubert, and Felix Mendelssohn. The concert also features solo harp pieces, including Tchaikovsky's Waltz of the Flowers.

About the venue: Christianskirken, Sønderborg

Christianskirken is the parish church for Christians Sogn in the eastern part of Sønderborg. It was designed by architect Kaare Klint in the so-called Klint Gothic style - a form language rooted in medieval Gothic, related to the Grundtvig's Church in Copenhagen. Construction took place in stages between 1957 and 1973; when Klint died in 1954, his son Esben Klint carried the project forward. The building is in yellow brick and features an altar table and font in granite.
