MAZEN - Everything You Don't Say on a First Date!

Poet and storyteller Mazen Ismail presents his new show: EVERYTHING YOU DON'T SAY ON A FIRST DATE - a poetic and humorous exploration of love in modern times. The show premiered on October 6 at Bygningen in Vejle and is touring to over 14 cities across Denmark.

Through poems and love anecdotes, the performance ventures into the world of dating culture - where you swipe with confidence but doubt in silence, where situationships exist and ghosting is an escape route in a digitalized dating jungle. The starting point is Mazen's own life, his personal observations, and stories from friends.

Mazen Ismail is the creator of the art form Spoken Thoughts, which combines poetry, performance, and music. He received the State Arts Foundation's honorary prize in 2019 and has previously performed two sold-out shows at the Opera House.
