Pelle's Party

For the third time, Trine Gadeberg embarks on a nationwide tour as her beloved 5½-year-old puppet character Pelle - a figure that has amassed millions of views on social media since 2017. Interest has at times been so intense that even Google tried to silence him. Over 55,000 tickets were sold at previous shows.

This time, Pelle examines Danish celebration habits alongside new and old characters. Danes can celebrate almost anything - but not everyone experiences the party from a child's perspective, and that is precisely where Pelle looks on with wonder, while the adults let loose and party to forget dental bills, ingrown nails, and municipal elections.

No one is spared, but everyone gets a hug when Trine pulls the red and blue hat down over her ears.
