What's Love Got To Do With It? - Tina Turner Tribute Show

What's Love Got To Do With It? is a tribute show dedicated to Tina Turner's music and career. Over 60,000 fans in the UK have sung and danced along - now the show comes to Koncertsalen Alsion in Sønderborg.

The setlist features classics such as Proud Mary, River Deep - Mountain High, Simply The Best, Private Dancer and Nutbush City Limits, performed by a live band. In the role of Tina Turner is Holly Bannis from Kent - daughter of Greg Bannis, former lead singer of Hot Chocolate. Holly grew up in a musical family and spent over a decade perfecting her talent before an audition on ITV's Starstruck launched her career. During lockdown she studied Turner's performances in detail: "her movements, her walk and her energy." She was originally cast as a backing vocalist and stand-in, but quickly moved into the spotlight and has since received standing ovations night after night.
