Creative writing workshop: Getting in touch

Author Ulrikke Bak leads this workshop exploring literary genres that address someone - letters, sales announcements, diaries, and voiceovers. Participants imitate and explore these forms through shared writing exercises. The workshop is conducted in English and welcomes all genres and experience levels.

Bring pen and paper or your own laptop - there will be plenty of collaborative writing. Desk space is very limited, so you'll likely need to hold your computer or paper in your lap. On the 4th floor there is a water station and coffee machine; feel free to bring your own water bottle.

The workshop is for adults and takes place on the 4th floor of Hovedbiblioteket, Krystalgade 15. You can reach it by elevator, stairs, or escalator from the main entrance - the venue is to the right regardless of which route you take. Participation is free but requires registration via Billetto.

Ulrikke Bak graduated from Forfatterskolen in 2022. She made her debut in 2024 with the novel "Love Looks Bleak" and subsequently published "Book of Psalm" (2026), both with the publisher Amulet. Questions can be sent to i343@kk.dk.
