Author talk with Tine Høeg about her novel "Ultramarin", in conversation with Line Kveiborg.

"Ultramarin" is Tine Høeg's fourth novel, published in 2025, and has received excellent reviews in Danish media. The novel follows visual artist Dagny Gudmundsen, who after her parental leave is tasked with creating a work for the natural history art museum GAIA. There she encounters an older work by artist Valdis Grabner, which draws her into Grabner's history - and back to her own past and an intense friendship with the wild Silva Berngard from her student days. The novel explores the power of creation, friendship, art, love, motherhood and women's experiences across generations, written in Høeg's characteristic poetic prose with humour.

Tine Høeg debuted with "Nye rejsende", which won her the Bogforum Debut Prize, and later received the Edvard P. Prize for "Tour De Chambre". Both books were staged at the Royal Theatre. Her novel "SULT" was adapted for Netflix in 2025 under the title "A Copenhagen Love Story".

The event takes place in Salen, Nørre Havnegade 15, 6400 Sønderborg.
