History Upside Down

National Museum director Rane Willerslev and multimedia artist Simon Jul share a fundamental conviction: much of what has shaped us as humans never made it into official history books.

In this lecture, the two dig into the parts of the past that society has somehow swept aside - and ask what that tells us about who we are today. The format is deliberately unconventional and follows its own rules. The audience will also hear things the two are not allowed to say in their podcast.
