My Child's First Food
Hovedbiblioteket, Copenhagen · free
This lecture explores how children learn to eat and what you can do to encourage your child to taste new foods and develop a healthy relationship with eating.
The talk is led by Kirsten Mikkelsen Ravnbøl, a nutrition specialist with nearly 25 years of experience as an educator, lecturer, author, recipe developer, and consultant specializing in food for children aged 0-3. She is a co-author of the Danish Health Authority and Food Agency's book "Food for Infants & Toddlers" (now called "Food for the Little Ones") and Aarstidernes book "BABY FOOD".
The event is free but requires advance registration due to limited capacity. One ticket covers one adult and one child aged 2-12 months. If you need to cancel, please notify hblaes@kk.dk.
The lecture takes place on the 4th floor of Copenhagen's Main Library. Prams and strollers are not permitted on the 4th floor - stroller parking is available on the ground floor on the red floor. "My Child's First" is a regular programme at the library where various experts give talks on child development, including language, motor skills, singing, reading, nutrition, zone therapy, multilingual children, and rhythm.
