My Child's First Song
Hovedbiblioteket, Copenhagen · free
Kirsten shows you how to support your child's language development with songs and finger plays that are easy to use at home every day. She is a trained educator with a master's degree in IT-didactic design, as well as a singer and songwriter. With over 20 years of experience creating activities for children, she has spent nine years developing music-based learning programmes for families at pedagogically staffed playgrounds and created the concepts 'Finger Play Songs' and 'International Songs' for the children's section LÆS.
The event is free but requires advance registration, as places are limited. One ticket covers one adult and one child aged 2-12 months. If you need to cancel, email hblaes@kk.dk.
The event takes place on the 4th floor of Copenhagen's Main Library. Prams and pushchairs cannot be brought upstairs - there is pram parking on the ground floor on the red floor.
My Child's First Song is a regular offering at Copenhagen's Main Library, where experts combine professional knowledge with practical exercises on child development in language, motor skills, singing, reading, nutrition, zone therapy, multilingual children and rhythm.
