Writing Workshop: Addresses — Hovedbiblioteket, Copenhagen
Free entry

Author Ulrikke Bak leads this workshop exploring literary forms that address a recipient: letters, diaries, sales announcements, and voice overs. Participants work through writing exercises that both embrace and challenge the established conventions of these genres.

Ulrikke Bak graduated from the Danish Writers' School in 2022. She debuted in 2024 with the novel Love Looks Bleak and subsequently published Book of Psalm (2026), both with the publisher Amulet.

The workshop is free and open to adults but requires registration via Billetto. It takes place at Copenhagen's Main Library, 4th floor (LIVE). No computers are provided, so bring your own laptop and/or paper and pen - desk space is very limited, so be prepared to work with materials in your lap. A writing board can be borrowed on site. The floor has a water station and coffee machine, but no other refreshments, so bring your own drinks.

The 4th floor is accessed from the main entrance on Krystalgade: take the elevator or the stairs to the right in the Central Hall, or the escalators to the 3rd floor and then the stairs to the right. The event area is to the right when you step out onto the floor. Questions can be directed to literature coordinator Poul-Louis at i343@kk.dk.
