Writing Workshop: Words About Murder
Hovedbiblioteket, Copenhagen · Free
The workshop "Words About Murder" explores the crime genre through a two-hour session combining talks and writing exercises to help you craft dark deeds on paper. Your instructor is Stephanie Caruana - author, journalist, plot instructor, and jury member of the Danish Crime Academy.
The workshop is free but requires registration on Billetto. It is aimed at adults and takes place in person at Copenhagen Main Library, 4th floor, room LIVE. Bring your own laptop and/or paper and pen - desk space is very limited, so you will likely need to work in your lap. A writing board for underlayment can be borrowed. The floor has a water station and coffee machine, but no other refreshments, so bring your own drinks.
The 4th floor can be reached by elevator or stairs from the Central Hall (entrance from Krystalgade), or via escalators up to the 3rd floor and then the stairs to the right. The performance area is to the right when you arrive on the floor.
Copenhagen Libraries holds similar workshops with changing themes and instructors each month around the city. Questions can be directed to literature coordinator Poul-Louis at i343@kk.dk.
