Tweens 'n' trends: Hear about 'Malle and the First Love' and join a dance workshop with Malle Riemer (waiting list)
Hovedbiblioteket, Copenhagen · free entry
The event has a waiting list, but places open up regularly - sign up and you'll be notified by email when a spot becomes available.
On Sunday, August 30 from 1-2:30 PM, Malle Riemer visits Hovedbiblioteket. She presents her debut novel 'Malle and First Love', leads a dance workshop, and holds a meet and greet afterwards.
The book follows Malle, who is crazy about Oliver. When the two finally become a couple, she pushes her best friend Karla aside - and forgets the dance competition they are preparing for. It is the first book in a new series about love and holding onto yourself when it hurts. Malle Riemer is an author and dancer known from YouTube and TikTok, where she reminds young people that they are good enough, just as they are.
The workshop is aimed at tweens aged 8-12 and their adults. Adults do not need to dance - it is possible to stay in the library's nearby areas during the workshop. If you book an adult ticket, however, you are expected to participate in the dance section. Entry is free, but tickets must be reserved in advance. The event takes place on the 4th floor, Krystalgade 15, 1172 Copenhagen K.
The visit is part of the monthly series Tweens 'n' trends, which focuses on books and stories through creative and engaging formats with illustrators, authors, and storytellers.
