Tweens 'n' trends: Hear about wild creatures and create your own with Kasper Hoff

Author Kasper Hoff visits Hovedbiblioteket on Saturday, October 24, 1:00 PM-2:30 PM to take visitors into the worlds of three of his series: 'Samlingens Vogter', 'Jagten på Sandheden', and the horror series 'Øen'. Along the way, you'll meet some of the creatures that inhabit his books - the flying serpent god Quetzalcoatl, the soul-eater Kilijamba, and the fire-breathing pet pig Bassemand.

The second half of the event is a workshop where participants draw and invent their own creatures and give them a story. Bring a pencil case with pencils, sharpener, and eraser.

Kasper Hoff has written more than 50 books, including the series 'Gamerz' and 'Doktor Z'. He has been nominated for the Orla Prize seven times and won it for the funniest book with 'Drengen der fik ting i hovedet'.

The event is for children aged 8-12 and their adults, taking place on the 4th floor, Krystalgade 15, 1172 Copenhagen K. Free entry, but tickets must be booked at billetto.dk. Adults who reserve a ticket are expected to participate actively in the workshop.
