FORTÆL - The Ice Princess

The performance tells the story of a frozen heart - and what it takes to thaw it again. What drives a person to want to control others? How many times must someone be laughed at, left out, or bullied before something shuts down? The story revolves around betrayal and revenge, but also the power of friendship and the chance to make things right.

The audience is not passive spectators: the children play an active role and help decide whether the ice princess's heart can thaw.

The performance is for children aged 7 to 11. Admission is free, but registration is required at billetto.dk.

NOTE: The performance takes place at Hans Tausen's Church, Halfdansgade 4 - not at the library. It is part of the storytelling festival FORTÆL, which runs from 7-12 September on Islands Brygge for the fourth time. The festival is organized by Islands Brygge Library with festival director Marie Louise leading it and is supported by Amager Vest Local Committee.
