A storytelling performance about the meeting between dreams and reality, centred on historical dreamers and rule-breakers such as Ole Olsen (founder of Nordisk Film) and Georg Carstensen (creator of Tivoli).

The performance is aimed at children and young people aged 12-16 and is free. Registration takes place via billetto.dk.

The performance is part of the storytelling festival FORTÆL, running from 7-12 September. Islands Brygge Bibliotek is hosting the festival for the fourth time with Festival Director Marie Louise leading the way, and the festival is supported by Amager Vest Lokaludvalg.

Islands Brygge Bibliotek on Njalsgade is a small public library that has occupied the same spot in the old part of the Islands Brygge neighbourhood since 1966. The single-room space houses both adult and children's sections, with shelves stocked with new titles. Beyond lending, the library runs reading clubs, author events, book cafés and regular children's activities such as storytelling and theatre. Self-service access is available every day 08:00-20:00; a health card is required outside staffed hours.
