From Paperback to Weaving Sketches

A weaving sample (vikleprøve) is a small yarn sketch where you play with colours and patterns before actual knitting or weaving. Author and weaver Astrid Skibsted has elevated the weaving sample to an art form and published the book 'Vikleprøvemanifestet' featuring photos of 200 weaving samples.

At this evening's workshop, passages from the Manifesto are read aloud, and afterwards we weave together. All materials are provided, and coffee and tea are served. The event is free and open to adults of all ages - registration on billetto.dk.
