Writing Workshop: Memories

No writing experience is necessary. In this workshop, you start with a memory from your own life and work with it in a playful and creative way. Through exercises, participants help each other evoke sensory impressions from their own experiences - and at the end there is a small twist: the memory is "passed on" to another participant.

The workshop is led by author, director and teacher Marie Louise Cornelius, who has written the historical family romance series "Mellem lys og skygge" and "Bag facaden af Glas". The work takes place in an informal setting, and everyone is welcome regardless of background.

The workshop is free but requires registration on Billetto. No computers are provided - bring your own (charging options are limited) and/or paper and pen. The workshop is aimed at adults.

The venue is Bryggekælderen, Islands Brygge Library, Njalsgade 15 - entrance via the courtyard. Ask the staff or find the basement stairs closest to the library's courtyard side. Copenhagen Libraries holds regular two-hour writing workshops throughout the city with changing themes and instructors.
