Sewing Course for Beginners — Kildevæld Kulturcenter, Copenhagen

This course is designed for beginners and those who want to refresh their sewing skills. From 5 PM to 8 PM, you will learn about the sewing machine and overlocker, working with different stitches and techniques at a relaxed pace with plenty of time for questions.

The group is limited to 6 participants. All machines and tools are provided, so you simply show up at the Sewing Workshop on the 2nd floor of Kildevæld Kulturcenter. If you have a sewing machine at home that you haven't figured out how to use, you're welcome to bring it along.

About the venue: Kildevæld Kulturcenter

Kildevæld Kulturcenter is a community cultural centre in the Østerbro district of Copenhagen, built as an extension to the listed Kildevældsskolen and set between the school and a neighbouring park. The building holds a library, a theatre and concert hall, creative workshops, a café, and a digital workshop equipped with laser cutters and 3D printers. Its programme targets residents of all ages in the Skt. Kjelds Kvarter neighbourhood, with a focus on the meeting point between urban nature and culture.
