Mahjong Club at Dokk1

The Mahjong Club at Dokk1 meets every other Thursday from 17:30 to 19:00 in "The Corner" - the area with round tables in the adult non-fiction section, next to the study rooms. Entry is free, and all skill levels are welcome.

Experienced players help beginners learn the rules, and if you are already familiar with the tactics, there is of course also a place for you.

Mahjong is a classic Chinese game for four players with 144 tiles featuring symbols, numbers and characters. The goal is to form a winning hand of 14 tiles by taking turns drawing and discarding tiles to create specific sets - similar to card games, but driven by luck and strategy.
