Tips & Tricks for Your Child's First Books

Research shows that reading aloud from infancy strengthens a child's language development and love of reading. This event is aimed at the youngest - from newborns up to 2 years old.

The programme begins with a name round and a song, followed by a short presentation on the latest methods for language stimulation and a question-and-answer session. Children's librarian Birgitte brings a selection of the newest picture books, which participants explore together with their little ones - and all books can be borrowed to take home afterwards. Remember to download the library's app and register with the library.

The event takes place in the Culture Hall on the ground floor. Prams are welcome, and the Café is open afterwards.
