About: Shining

Led by multi-instrumentalist Jørgen Munkeby since 1999, Shining has spent over two decades tearing down the walls between jazz and metal. Eight studio albums in, from their acoustic beginnings to the industrial ferocity of the Blackjazz era, they remain one of the most uncompromising acts in contemporary avant-garde metal.
