Writing Workshop: Writing with the Body
Nørrebro Bibliotek, Copenhagen · Free
A writing workshop for adults at Nørrebro Bibliotek, organized by Københavns Biblioteker. The workshop explores the connection between body and writing through simple writing exercises, based on the idea that we don't write only with our minds, but from our whole bodies, and that this embodied experience carries through in the text.
The workshop is led by Anna Rieder, author and graduate of Forfatterskolen (2019). Her published works include the debut "Hindebæger" (2020), the dementia book "Hvor kendt er du på Frederiksberg", and "Smerte-hjerte" (2023), co-authored with psychiatrist Birgit Bundesen. As a self-declared tenderness activist, she has created pamphlets for psychiatric institutions and views tenderness as political action and art as resistance.
Participation is free but requires registration on Billetto. Bring what you need for the writing exercises. Chairs will likely be arranged like in a cinema, so you'll have your laptop, tablet, or paper in your lap - and since there's no charging available during the workshop, paper and pen may be preferable.
