Professional Autumn: Morten DD on Birds

Biologist and nature communicator Morten D.D. Hansen (b. 1972) gives a lecture on birds based on his 2026 book "I Look at Birds", which explores the many bird species found in Denmark.

The lecture addresses questions such as: what is the difference between a greenfinch and a goldfinch, which birds sing in dialects, and how do you start birdwatching when you live in a big city? The lecture is aimed at both beginners and experienced birdwatchers.

Morten D.D. Hansen has previously written "365 in Nature on Mols" and "The Book of Insects". The lecture is part of the Professional Autumn series, held in Glassalen, Kvarterhuset, and is supported by Copenhagen's libraries and the Amager East Local Committee.
