About the venue: ARKEN Museum for Samtidskunst

ARKEN Museum for Samtidskunst opened in 1996 on the shore of Køge Bugt, south of Copenhagen. The building, designed by Søren Robert Lund, resembles a ship run aground on the beach - a striking piece of architecture in its own right. The museum presents Danish and international contemporary art from the 1990s to the present, alongside major temporary exhibitions.

Growing up in Brøndby Strand and honing his voice in the Copenhagen Boys Choir, Burhan G went on to tour with Outlandish as a teenager before breaking through as a solo artist. His shift to Danish-language pop and R&B from 2010 made him one of the most recognisable voices in the country.
