About the venue: Hotel Cecil

Hotel Cecil is a concert venue on Niels Hemmingsens Gade in central Copenhagen, close to Gråbrødretorv and Helligåndskirken. The building dates from 1936 and previously housed Copenhagen Jazzhouse before the current operators - the team behind Bremen Teater - opened Hotel Cecil in February 2018. The Art Deco-styled hall holds up to 350 guests and hosts concerts by Danish and international artists, comedy shows and live podcasts. The nightclub Cecil AM runs in the same space, with DJ nights and midnight concerts.

About: múm

Since 1997, the Icelandic collective múm has built a sound world where fragile vocals and acoustic textures meet electronic experimentation. Seven studio albums in - most recently 2025's "History of Silence" - they remain one of the most distinctive voices in Nordic experimental music.

múm released their seventh studio album "History of Silence" on September 19, 2025 via Morr Music - the band's first full album since "Smilewound" in 2013.
