Immerse Yourself in Natural Science - Seaweed — Sydhavnens Bibliotek, Copenhagen
Free entry

Seaweed forms underwater forests of great importance for marine life and climate - and new research suggests that seaweed can also contribute to health, food, and the environment. Annette Bruhn, senior researcher in marine ecology at the Department of Ecoscience, Aarhus University, has worked with seaweed cultivation and applications for 18 years.

The lecture is livestreamed from the Sea Auditoriums in Universitetsparken, Aarhus University, and typically lasts two hours with a 20-minute break halfway through. During the lecture, the audience can send questions via SMS, and the lecturer answers a selection at the end - some lecturers also answer the remaining questions in writing afterwards. Admission is free, and coffee and cake are served.

Venue: The Lunch Room on the 1st floor.
