Josefine Weber Hansen Performs Edith Södergran

Josefine Weber Hansen is a violist, composer, and singer trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Music. In 2025, she received the Léonie Sonning Talent Prize. She works at the intersection of classical music and experimental practice, focusing on the relationship between voice and instrument as a shared, embodied space of expression.

For the festival, she interprets selected poems by Edith Södergran musically, conveying the poems through the physical and temporal expression of the voice.
