Lars Skinnebach is an author known for radical and experimental work, where climate, power, and language are central themes.
In 2010, he declared that literature failing to address the climate crisis is not worth engaging with. That same year, he published Exercises and Ritual Texts - a work that could only be purchased if the buyer committed to consuming nothing but the most basic groceries for five days. His award-winning works include Tomorrow the Systems Return Again, Your Abuser, and Teotwaki.
At the festival, he reads from his latest poetry collections, where climate critique takes shape in both beauty and despair.
