Themed Evening on Censored Exhibitions

KunstPunkt hosts a themed evening for members and former participants in the association's open censored exhibition. The evening explores questions many artists grapple with: what do the censors prioritize, which criteria are applied, and how does the dialogue between them unfold?

Two speakers address the question of what art is - and whether it can even be defined:

Jørgen Steinicke - painter and cand.mag. in art history, with many years of experience as a censor at censored exhibitions, including at KunstPunkt.

Margit Enggaard Poulsen - painter trained at Det Fynske Kunstakademi and owner of her own gallery on Fanø, also with experience as a censor at censored exhibitions, including at KunstPunkt.

Time is set aside for questions and debate, and the audience is actively invited to participate. Participation is free, but places are limited, so registration is required - send an email to info@kunstpunkt.dk by 14 August at the latest.
