Author Rasmus Daugbjerg and guitar duo Yngel present Ulykkels Mønt, a cross-aesthetic work - a small magical box filled with sounds, stories and songs that blend eeriness and mystery in both words and music.

Rasmus Daugbjerg is a graduate of the Danish Writers' School and has published the novels Rygtet (2021), Trold (2022) and Rasmus Nielsøn (2026). He has received, among other awards, the Arts Foundation's three-year work grant, the Michael Strunge Prize and the Mare Kandre Prize, and his books have been translated into several languages. Yngel draws on guitar techniques from many traditions, creating yearning melodies, extended improvisations and soundscapes with melancholic resonance.

The performance takes place at the Sydhavn Literature Festival.

Sydhavnens Bibliotek is housed in Karens Minde Kulturhus on Wagnersvej, set in a park with animals and old trees. The collection covers books, audiobooks and digital media, and a recently added conservatory is fitted out for children and families. Year-round events include concerts, talks and communal dinners, with poetry readings at Sydhavnens Litteraturfestival and children's theatre in summer.
