Atajo is a music project that blends Andean and Latin American roots with reggae, cumbia, rock, and blues - seasoned with Scandinavian influences. The band was founded in 1996 in La Paz, Bolivia, and has continued its work from the Nordic region since founder Panchi Maldonado arrived in Sweden in 2019.

In 2025, Atajo performs new tracks such as "La Viajera" and "Calma para mi Alma" - both available on digital platforms - alongside earlier material.

Drop Inn on Kompagnistræde opened in 1934 as a restaurant with cabaret entertainment, soon nicknamed "Den røde ged" (The Red Goat) by Danish veterans of the Spanish Civil War. It became a refuge for jazz-loving bohemians, musicians and artists. Today it is an intimate live music venue with a near-floor-level stage, covering jazz, blues, rock and soul, with regular Jam Nights and a prominent role in the Copenhagen Jazz Festival.
