About

Atajo is a music project founded in La Paz, Bolivia in 1996 by Panchi Maldonado. The band weaves Andean and Latin American roots together with reggae, cumbia, rock and blues. Since Maldonado moved to Sweden in 2019, Scandinavian influences have also found their way into the sound. Recent tracks include "La Viajera" and "Calma para mi Alma".
