Writing Workshop: Autofiction, Memories and Autobiography

Do you want to write about your own life, transform it into fiction, or tell your family's story? This workshop combines presentations, writing exercises and discussion about what to focus on when drawing from your own experiences.

The instructor is author and writing teacher Helle Merete Brix, who works with autofiction. She describes writing as a tool for gathering thoughts, feelings and ideas - and recommends, among other things, writing a little every day, something she has done for the past 8 years.

There will be an opportunity to ask questions throughout. Participation is free but requires registration on Billetto. Bring your own computer and/or paper and pen - the library provides water, tea and coffee.
