Syd For Solen is a three-day music festival held each August in Valbyparken, Copenhagen. It grew out of the pandemic years and is built around a day-by-day concept - no camping, just concerts and food, then home to bed. Gothenburg-born organist and vocalist Anna von Hausswolff has built one of the most singular bodies of work in contemporary experimental music since "Ceremony" (2012), with the pipe organ as her signature instrument and a vocal range few can match. Her sixth album "ICONOCLASTS" (2025) is her most ambitious release yet, featuring collaborations with Iggy Pop and Ethel Cain among others.
