Anna von Hausswolff is a Swedish singer, pianist, organist and composer, born in Gothenburg in 1986 and the daughter of sound artist Carl Michael von Hausswolff. She is internationally recognised for her gothic-inflected music built around the pipe organ, and for a voice that ranges from near-whisper to raw, operatic power. Her 2012 album "Ceremony" brought her international attention, and she has since released a string of critically acclaimed records, most recently "ICONOCLASTS" (2025), featuring Iggy Pop and Ethel Cain. She has also composed music for the Nobel Banquet and performed as solo vocalist in a production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" at the Royal Swedish Opera.
