Witches of Africa

Witches of Africa - Anja Ringgren Lovén: Wednesday 28 October 2026, 19:00–21:00, Hovedbiblioteket, Aarhus. Tickets cost 200 kr.

Every year, more than 15,000 children in Nigeria are branded as witches - abandoned, persecuted, and subjected to severe violence. Anja Ringgren Lovén has spent over a decade fighting for these children.

At this event, Anja tells the story of how she - raised in Frederikshavn as an ordinary Dane - ended up building a children's home spanning over 30,000 square meters in one of the world's most dangerous countries, for children no one else listened to.

Organizer: FOF Aarhus. Venue: Lille sal.
