90-Year Anniversary Celebration - Gigtforeningen in Motion

Gigtforeningen's Aalborg branch celebrates its 90th anniversary with a programme featuring lectures, movement, and anniversary cake. Doors open at 18:00; registration must be completed by Friday, 6 November 2026 at 23:25.

Physiotherapist Mette Høgh will discuss the clinic's experience with GLA:D - Good Life with Osteoarthritis in Denmark, a research-based training and education programme for people with osteoarthritis in the knee, hip, or back, focusing on pain reduction and strengthening everyday function.

Mette Høgh is also a certified instructor in Parkinson Ballroom Fitness and will introduce this gentle training concept, where music, rhythm, and community are central - emphasizing coordination, balance, stability, and fitness. The event concludes with a "taste" of dance as exercise: you set your own pace, no dance partner required - just well-fitting shoes.
